Disorders

Disorders - What is it? What does it mean? These are the questions that come to your mind there is a huge list of disorders but I don’t have the time the read it.

Well I can certainly talk about the most common and familiar one, it is called OCD its full form is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

It is a mental disorder where people feel the need to check things repeatedly, or have certain thoughts repeatedly examples like did I leave the car on? Or did I forget my keys? and then your brain in just wasting time thinking about it.

People are unable to control either the thoughts or the activities. Common activities include hand washing, counting of things, and checking to see if a door is locked.

 There are levels to this disorder people reach a certain level that I simple thing like coloring outside the line irritates them. This can be cured if treated it the right way.

Do you have OCD?

This can also disturb your daily life in many different ways.

Signs and symptoms of having OCD

  • Fear of germs or contamination
  • Having things symmetrical or in a perfect order
  • Cleaning /or handwashing
  • Ordering and arranging things in a particular, precise way
